In FY ’08, GMCR employees contributed over $43,000 that was matched through our matching donation program.

Employee Giving

To encourage giving, and to inspire employees to take a leadership role in our corporate social responsibility work, we have an employee matching donation program.

Currently, we match all cash donations to registered 501(c)(3) organizations at 100%, up to $500 per year. In certain situations, such as natural disasters or local causes that are particularly meaningful to our employees, we remove the annual cap. Additionally, we make the donation process easier through automatic payroll deductions for seven organizations: Coffee Kids®, Heifer® International, Grounds for Health, The United Way, American Heart Association, The Jane Goodall Institute, and Save the Children.
